ABOUT THE EVENT

Come celebrate "Christmas in July" on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the Amana Performing Arts Center (formerly The Old Creamery Theater) for a Branson style Christmas show!

"Christmas in July", celebrated in many places around the world is a nostalgic relic originating in 1933 at Keystone Camp by co-founder Fannie Holt in Brevard, North Carolina.  Her goal was to help the girls overcome home sickness by making crafts for secret santa, playing other games and making treats!  It is celebrated every year on or around July 25th, the halfway point to the beloved December 25th holiday!

You can make your trip here a full day or weekend excursion as there are more things to do!  While in Amana, get your early holiday shopping underway in the Christmas room located within the Amana General Store. The International Christmas Market is a year-round holiday wonderland!

Tour the Amana Heritage Society Museum to learn the 300-year history of the Amana people.

Stroll into the Ackerman winery, Iowa's oldest winery to taste their handcrafted fruit and grape wine since 1956!

Enjoy family style dining before or after the Christmas show at the Ox Yoke Inn, Ronneburg Restaurant, or Millstream Brewing Co.
